Composers Edition’s Isa Gibbs has written a brief article on ‘Music Inspired by the Dymock Poets’ which features a variety of works by CE composers, including a number of my chamber, vocal, and large-scale works. Having grown up in the Dymock area, and with a long-standing love of the poetry of Edward Thomas in particular – this group of WW1 poets has had a considerable influence on me since my late teens.
